Power Skills and Power Skating – Spring Summer Weekly
This is an excellent program to develop your all your skills during the off-season in preparation for next fall. The program follows our “Skills Plus” philosophy; each ice time is designed to enhance and define the skills needed to succeed. The participants begin with power skating (straight line speed, turns, pivots, stopping, etc.) and power skills (stickhandling, puck protection, passing, etc) training for roughly 20 minutes. The full length of ice staking and puck control warm up training is divide into three groups using divider pads to split the players based on age and skill. After the warm up, Players are divided into 4 groups based on skill level and age and rotate through stations working on individual skills combining puck control and skating, passing and shooting and more. Each session has a specific focus and progress over the course of each ice time and duration of the program. In later sessions we introduce individual and team tactics. The final component of each session is intense small ice games of 3-on-3. This training format keeps everyone active throughout, thereby maximizing puck touches and skill development time.
You can purchase a group (6Players) at a discounted cost and you’ll work together in 1/4 of the ice to train….cost for a group is $1380 for 6 players ( you could also add more players to the group package but just 6 players show up each week). This would be an excellent option for a team / a group of friend to get extra training together.
